Step into the 7-storey Winter Garden Atrium and enter the Grand Ballroom, and you will understand why it is the perfect setting for the Mariposa Ball & Awards for many years.

Each year, the ball offers a chance to be entertained by a wealth of amazing talent, eat fabulous food, hear moving stories of loss and hope, and help to raise vital funds to support the charity. The Mariposa Ball 2025, in partnership with OK Magazine, was no exception. Hosted by Briony May Williams and James Green with a host of stars from stage and screen, the capacity crowd enjoyed entertainment from Millie Ferguson, Victoria Ekanoye, Spirit YPC, Abby & Chris Eaton, Bethannie Hare, and a special performance by Britain’s Got Talent finalists ‘Flawless’

Mariposa International

Mariposa International, also known by the name of its primary support division, ‘Saying Goodbye’, is a leading bereavement support charity

The charity primarily supports people that have been affected by the loss of a baby, whether during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy, recently or historically. It provides a comprehensive support network including befrienders and online support, plus it holds the international ‘Saying Goodbye’ services of remembrance at Cathedrals and Minsters across the UK, US and France.

The charity has five further divisions, including Growing You, which supports people going through pregnancy after baby loss, Holding Hope, Waiting for You, So Cherished and Love in Every Tear and more information can be found at www.sayinggoodbye.org and at www.mariposainternational.org

The Mariposa Awards 2026

In 2018, the charity launched the Mariposa Awards with our ambassador Kym Marsh, which recognise medical professionals and others making a real difference in the lives of people who have experienced baby loss. Winners, including doctors, nurses and midwives as well as fundraisers and volunteers, have received awards from stars of stage and screen, including Kym Marsh, Max Beesley, Rhiannon Jones, Maz Murray, Grace Booth and Michael Grecco, to name a few.
